Participants can join the Clowbridge 5k Summer Series, with the final race on Thursday, 1st August 2024. The 5k trail run takes place around a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway, open to individuals aged 11 and above. The course is described as fast and flat with a 25m elevation over 5km, consisting of 2 laps around Clowbridge Reservoir starting from Rossendale Valley Sailing Club. The event starts at 7pm with registration from 6.15pm, and prizes are awarded in each race. Parking is available at the Sailing Club, and the series will donate proceeds to local causes.
