Cloud Cap

Mount Hood, United States • 20 Sep 2025

Cloud Cap takes runners on Mt. Hood’s northern slopes via two loop-style courses— a Mountain Marathon (26.3 miles, 4,800 ft ascent, 4,700 ft descent) and a Half Marathon (13.3 miles, 2,400 ft ascent, 2,400 ft descent). The routes use trails and rugged Cloud Cap Road through the Cloud Cap–Tilly Jane Historic District starting at Cooper Spur Ski Area, at ~3,950 ft.
