Each race day is limited to 450 runners. The event uses fully marked trail courses with chip timing, live results, plentifully stocked aid stations, shuttle buses to the start areas, professional medical support, staffed bathrooms, radio communications, professional photography, and required permitting. Thunder Island tent camping is offered near the start and finish area; campers must carry supplies from parked vehicles and no campfires or alcohol are allowed on the island. Event parking at Marine Park carries a daily fee and additional curbside parking is available in Cascade Locks; the park entry has a 12 foot clearance limit for tall vehicles.

A prize purse totaling $75,000 is distributed across the top three men and top three women in each distance. The 100K is a qualifier for the 2027 Western States Endurance Run for finishers under 17 hours. Each distance is an UTMB Index race. Dogs are not allowed on the course or at aid stations; leashed dogs are allowed in outdoor staging areas under owner control. Volunteer roles and other event details are posted by the organizers.
