Gorge Waterfalls is a multi-day trail running event staged at Marine Park in Cascade Locks, Oregon, within the Columbia River Gorge. The event offers three measured trail race distances and includes course marking, chip timing with live results, shuttle buses, staffed aid stations, professional medical support, on-site toilets, post-race food and beverages, custom finisher awards and professional photography. Each race day is limited to 450 runners.

Key features:

  • 100K
  • 50K
  • 30K

The event is organized by Freetrail and Daybreak Racing and presented by All Conditions Gear. A prize purse of $75,000 will be awarded across the three distances, and the organizers commit to equal prize money and awards for women and men. The 2026 100K serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Western States Endurance Run for finishers under 17 hours. Portions of race proceeds will be donated to Trailkeepers of Oregon.

Logistics noted by the organizers include participant tent camping on Thunder Island (first come first served; no campfires or alcohol), additional camping at Marine Park Campground by separate reservation, and event parking at Marine Park with a $10 daily parking fee. Use of boot brushes at check-in or the start is required by the U.S. Forest Service. Dogs are not allowed on course or at aid stations; leashed dogs are permitted in outdoor staging areas only.
