Gorge Waterfalls is a trail running event in the Columbia River Gorge near Cascade Locks, Oregon. The event offers three distances:

  • 100K
  • 50K
  • 30K

The 100K is a Western States qualifier and each distance carries a UTMB® Index designation. Posted overall cutoffs are: 17 hours for the 100K, 9 hours for the 50K, and 6 hours for the 30K. Awards include custom finisher awards for all participants, podium awards for the top three men and top three women, and a prize purse for top finishers in the 100K and 50K. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to Trailkeepers of Oregon. The organizers state a commitment to equality, including equal podium spots and equal prize money for women and men.

Location and logistics

The event is staged at Marine Park Pavilion in Cascade Locks, Oregon, with tent camping available on Thunder Island. Thunder Island camping is first come, first served; campers must carry supplies onto the island and no campfires or alcohol are allowed there. Event services include chip timing, live results, shuttle buses, stocked aid stations with staff, professional medical support, portable bathrooms, radio communications, post-race food and beverages, and event photography. Each race day has a capacity limit of 450 runners; when races fill a waitlist may be activated.
