Gorge Waterfalls

Gorge Waterfalls is a trail running event in the Columbia River Gorge, staged at Marine Park Pavilion in Cascade Locks, Oregon. The event takes place April 10–12, 2026 and offers trail race distances of:

  • 100K
  • 50K
  • 30K

The races use Gorge trail terrain and include marked courses, chip timing, live results and professional on-course medical support. Thunder Island at Marine Park is available for tent camping to participants; camping is first come, first served, and campfires and alcohol are not allowed on the island.

Logistics and registration

Each race day has a capacity limit of 450 runners. Registration fees listed for the 2026 event range by entry period: 30K ($140–$155), 50K ($190–$205) and 100K ($270–$290). The fee covers race organization, course marking, aid stations, restrooms, shuttle buses, post-race food and beverages, custom finisher awards and professional photography. There is no lottery for entries; transfers are not available after races fill and a waitlist is used if needed.

Course cutoffs are published by distance (examples: 100K overall cutoff is 17 hours; 50K and 30K have published overall cutoffs). The 100K is a Western States qualifier (finishers must meet the published time requirement) and each distance is an UTMB® Index race. Dogs are not allowed on course or at aid stations; leashed dogs may remain in outdoor staging areas. Parking at Marine Park requires a $10 daily fee. Experience a challenging 7 mile trail run from Dog Mountain Trailhead with sweeping views of the Columbia River, Mt Hood and Mt St. Helens. Expect a steep climb to the summit and a thrilling single track descent through the Gorge.

Run along the scenic Sandy River at Oxbow Regional Park with 5k, 10k and half marathon options on rolling forest and river trails. Limited to 150 runners, this intimate spring trail event features aid stations, post race food and camping.

Wild Woman Trail Marathon is a trail weekend created by and for women at the base of Mt Adams, with 50K, marathon, half and relay options on scenic forest trails. Enjoy camping at base camp, post run lunch and gentle yoga.

Choose 50M or 50K and tackle rugged ridge top trails around Wy’east near Mt. Hood, finishing in the orchards of Hood River Valley. Expect big climbs, forest views and shuttles from Red Barn Park for a classic PNW trail experience.
