Gorge Waterfalls is a trail running event held April 10-12, 2026 in Cascade Locks, Oregon, at Marine Park along the Columbia River Gorge. The event offers the following distances:

  • 100K
  • 50K
  • 30K

Each race day has a capacity limit of 450 runners. Registrations are open and close on Apr 3 at 11:59 PM PT. There is no lottery for entries; when a race fills a waitlist is used. Distance transfers are not available once a race fills.

Logistics and race specifics

The 100K is a Western States 2027 qualifier - runners must finish the full 100K in under 17 hours to be eligible. Each distance is also a UTMB® Index race. Posted overall cutoffs include a 17-hour cutoff for the 100K, 9 hours for the 50K, and 6 hours for the 30K; additional on-course cutoffs are listed on each race details page.

Event services included with registration comprise chip timing, live results and coverage, staffed aid stations, professional medical support, radio communications, post-race food and beverages, Thunder Island camping access, and on-site parking. Marine Park parking requires a $10 daily fee; additional curbside parking is available on Wa Na Pa St. Tent camping on Thunder Island is first come, carry-in only, with no campfires or alcohol allowed. The nearest major airport is Portland International Airport, about 38 miles from the event staging area.
