Wy'east Trailfest : Mt. Hood Meadows, August 15-16, 2026
Wy'east Trailfest is a weekend of mountain trail running held at Mt. Hood Meadows in the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. Multiple trail distances are offered across two days, with several mountain courses reaching alpine terrain up to 8,000 feet on Saturday and additional shorter trail races on Sunday. The 50K serves as the 2026 USATF 50K Trail National Championship.

- Kids Race, 0.75 mile (1.2 km)
The Kids Race is free, not timed, and requires children under six to be accompanied by a parent or guardian; race staff escort participants along the marked course that finishes at the Sun Deck by the lodge. Registration fees vary by distance and registration date; fees cover a fully marked course, parking, chip timing and results, staffed aid stations, medical support and communications, post-race food and beverages, custom finisher awards, and professional photography.
Additional event features include a post-race food voucher for most participants, a $12,000 prize purse distributed among top elite 50K finishers, a nonbinary prize-money eligibility standard for the 50K, livestream coverage of the 50K, and youth-focused entries and discounts as part of a USATF Mountain, Ultra, Trail youth initiative.
