Wy’east Trailfest is a two day mountain trail running event held at Mt. Hood Meadows in the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. Races use alpine ridgelines, forests, wildflower meadows and established mountain trails, with several courses reaching 8,000 feet.

Course highlights and key facts: the 50 Miler is a point to point route with 10,650 feet of gain and 8,800 feet of loss. The 50K is a point to point course with 6,900 feet of gain and 5,900 feet of loss and is designated the 2026 USATF 50K Trail National Championship with a $12,000 prize purse. The 28K is a 17.3 mile single loop with 4,300 feet of gain and loss. The 14K Hill Climb is 8.9 miles with 2,700 feet of gain. The Half Marathon is a 13.1 mile single loop with 2,400 feet of gain and loss. The 8K is a 5.0 mile single loop with 850 feet of gain.

The Kids Race is a .75 mile point to point route (1.2 kilometers), free and untimed; children under six must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and race staff escort participants along the course.

Registration fees include a fully marked course, staging and parking, chip timing and results, staffed aid stations, medical support and communications, post race food and beverages, custom finisher awards, and professional photography. The event provides RV and car camping on paved parking at Mt. Hood Meadows with an overnight use fee paid through the venue. Nearest hotel lodging is in Government Camp about 15 minutes away and Hood River about 40 minutes away. A nonbinary athlete policy sets a performance threshold for 50K prize money eligibility at 5:50:00. Trail runs nearby

Trail races of 100K, 50K and 30K run in the Columbia River Gorge from Marine Park in Cascade Locks. The 100K is a Western States qualifier and the event includes Thunder Island camping plus marked courses and aid stations.

The Mt Hood Scramble is a legendary adventure run covering roughly 6 miles. Camping is available near the start and finish at White River West Sno Park. The event is known to sell out, so early registration is advised.

A 10 km loop race on Strawberry Island in the Columbia River Gorge offering 10K, 50K, 100K and 100-mile options, single aid station every 6.2 miles, on-site camping for gear, and awards within a 30-hour event limit.

A point-to-point trail race around Mt Hood with a 50 mile, a 50K and a two person 50K relay. Courses run mostly on Gunsight Ridge and Surveyor's Ridge, with shuttles based at Red Barn Park in Parkdale.
