Wy’east Trailfest takes place August 15-16, 2026 at Mt. Hood Meadows in the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. The festival features mountain trail running on alpine terrain that reaches about 8,000 feet elevation. The event includes a post-race celebration at the Mt. Hood Meadows lodge with food and beverage options and on-site photography and livestream coverage. RV and car camping is allowed on the paved parking area for Friday and Saturday nights with an overnight use fee through Mt. Hood Meadows; nearby lodging is available in Government Camp (about 15 minutes) and Hood River (about 40 minutes). The organizers include a land acknowledgement naming the Molalla, Kalapuyan, Chinookan Clackamas, Wasco and Wishram, Northern Paiute peoples and other Sahaptin speakers.

Registration opens January 1. The registration fee covers a fully marked course, staging and parking, chip timing and results, full aid stations, medical support and communications, post-race food and beverages, a custom finisher award, livestream production and professional photography. Race shirts and other add-ons are not included. The 50K and 28K share a $10,000 overall prize purse for top elite men and women, with specified payouts for the top three in each race; top three finishers receive guaranteed free entry to the next year.
