Wy’east Trailfest is a two-day mountain trail running event at Mt. Hood Meadows in the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon, held August 15-16, 2026. Registration opens January 1, 2026. Courses reach alpine terrain up to 8,000 feet and include marked routes, chip timing, full aid stations, medical support, parking, post-race food and beverages, a custom finisher award, professional photography and livestream coverage. The venue offers paved RV and car camping on Friday and Saturday nights with an overnight use fee paid through Mt. Hood Meadows. Nearest hotel lodging is in Government Camp (about 15 minutes), with additional options in Hood River (about 40 minutes). The nearest major airport is Portland International Airport (PDX). Weather can change rapidly in the mountain environment.

- 14K Hill Climb: 8.9 mi, up and down, 2,700' gain
- Half Marathon: 13.1 mi, single-loop, 2,400' gain and loss
- 8K: 5.0 mi, single-loop, 850' gain
- Kids Race: 0.75 mi point-to-point, untimed; children under 6 must be accompanied
Awards and policies
The 50K and 28K offer an overall prize purse of $3,000 each, with cash awards for the top three men and women. Podium finishers receive awards and guaranteed free entry to next year’s Wy’east Trailfest. Prize money for the nonbinary division is awarded at levels consistent with the men’s and women’s divisions; nonbinary athletes must meet specified performance thresholds to qualify for prize money (50K: 5:50:00; 28K: 2:45:00).
