Wy'east Trailfest is a mountain trail running event at Mt. Hood Meadows in the Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. The event is scheduled for August 15-16, 2026 and features alpine courses that reach about 8,000 feet on Saturday, plus shorter trail races on Sunday. The weekend includes a kids race and post-race activities at the Mt. Hood Meadows lodge.

Event details
Registration opens January 1. Early registration prices (Jan 1 - Jan 31) are listed as: $185 (50 Miler), $155 (50K), $120 (28K), $100 (Half Marathon), $85 (14K; $50 youth), and $50 (8K; $30 youth). The registration fee includes a fully marked course, parking, chip timing and results, full service aid stations, medical support and communications, post-race food and beverages, a custom finisher award, livestream production, and professional photography. Race shirts and other add-ons are not included.
The event location is Mt. Hood Meadows on the southeastern side of Mt. Hood off Hwy 35. RV and car camping are allowed on paved parking with an overnight fee; there is no soft-surface camping at the venue. The Kids Race starts at the north service road, follows the Beargrass Trail and finishes on the Sun Deck; staff will escort participants. The 28K and 50K prize purse is $10,000 total, with $1,250/$750/$500 to the top three in each race. Nonbinary athletes must meet specified performance thresholds to be eligible for prize money.
