The Christmas in July event in Bossier City offers three distance options along the A.R. Teague paved river trail at Walker Place Park. The course runs alongside the Red River and is described as flat and paved, with the start and finish located in Walker Place Park.

The event lists staged registration periods with differing fees (Preview, Early Bird, Regular, Late, and Race Day) and separate pricing for virtual entries. Participants who register by July 2 are guaranteed race swag in their selected size; after that date swag is available while supplies last.
