Course and aid
The course is a 10-mile loop combining the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails. There are two aid stations: a main aid station at the start/finish area offering hot food and a variety of trail snacks, and a second unmanned station around mile 5 providing water, snacks, ice, and electrolytes. Trail terrain is typical of a Louisiana state park: generally flat with minimal elevation, muddy sections, tree roots, and natural surfaces.
Facilities, awards and logistics
Lake Bistineau State Park features cabins, campsites, boat launches, hiking and biking trails, and picnic areas. On-site lodging options listed include premium and improved campsites with water and electrical hookups. Race swag includes a pullover hoodie, speed cup, trucker hat, and custom backpack for the 100 miler and 100K; the 25K receives a pullover hoodie and speed cup. Awards include finisher buckles for the 100K and 100 miler, a medal for the 25K, and top three male and female awards for each distance. Race-day food at the start/finish will include hot and cold items and vegan options. Discounts are available for military, donors, and first responders with proof to be provided within 24 hours.
