The Geaux Wild Ultra is an endurance trail running event held at Lake Bistineau State Park in Doyline, Louisiana. Featuring a 10-mile loop course that combines the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails, the race offers two distances: a 50-mile and a 50K. The terrain is classic Louisiana State Park style, with flat, minimally elevated trails including muddy sections and natural obstacles like tree roots.
Aid stations provide hot food, snacks, water, ice, and electrolytes. The scenic park boasts upland hardwood forests, cypress and tupelo stands, and lake views. Participants receive swag including a T-shirt, speed cup, waist pack, and neck gaiters, with awards for top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
