OUTLAST Shreveport is a six-hour trail endurance event held at 1 North Adventure Trails Park in Blanchard, LA 71060. Runners complete a 5K loop each hour; each lap must be finished within the hour to continue. Missing a lap removes a participant from the event. The Shreveport course is single track trail with roots, hills, and loose soil described as rooty, hilly, and dirty.
Logistics, timing and awards
Each 5K is timed individually, and a competitor who completes all six laps has a combined time used for local awards and the national leaderboard. All participants receive an OUTLAST T‑shirt and sticker. Completion awards are issued by laps: 4 laps earns a bronze leather patch, 5 laps a silver leather patch, and 6 laps a premium wooden OUTLAST medal. Top male and female finishers at each event win the 1st Place OUTLAST award for fastest combined 5K times. Finishers are ranked nationally; the fastest across all OUTLAST 6-hour events is crowned National Champion with a $1,000 prize. City 6-hour champions earn a spot in the Outlast Championship; championship winners receive $1,000 each. The tour will invite the top 100 national times to compete in the championship.
Aid is provided at the basecamp/loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks. This is a cupless event - participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Registration fees vary by period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
