Cedar Crest Trail Run

Cedar Crest Trail Run takes place in Lyles, TN on the grounds of Cedar Crest Camp, a 500 acre outdoor ministry property owned by the Tennessee Western Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. The event offers multiple course distances and on-course support.

Available distances:

  • Half marathon
  • 10k
  • 5k

The half marathon and 10k courses are described as relatively non-technical and similar to many trail systems in middle Tennessee. The 5k runs on a gravel road with notable hills. All courses are marked and will have aid stations placed at about miles 2.5, 4, and 6. There are no course cutoff times.

Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the race and the morning of the event. All entrants receive a tote bag with the event logo. There are age group prizes and a post-race meal; runners with dietary restrictions are asked to contact the race director. The event permits dogs when leashed; runners with dogs must start at the back and clean up after their animals. Dogs are allowed for tent campers and RV guests but are not permitted in heated lodge rooms.

On-site lodging options and rates are listed: primitive tent camping, bunk style group lodging with shared bathrooms, and RV hookups. Registration closes prior to the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
