The course runs on trails with gradual inclines and a mix of single and double track. Race notes describe a soft pine straw surface in places. Water and aid stations will be available on the course but will not provide cups, so participants who plan to drink at the stations must carry their own handheld. Trash receptacles will be located at each aid station and runners are asked to keep food trash on their person; visible littering can lead to disqualification from award consideration.

Packet pickup is available early on Saturday, July 25 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Nashville Running Company (820 Woodland St). Race day packet pickup will be at the race start on July 26 from 6:45 to 7:30 AM.
