The Tennessee Mile

The Tennessee Mile is a multi-division timed loop race held on private land near Franklin, Tennessee. The course is a 1.1 mile loop with about 340 feet of elevation gain, featuring two substantial climbs, runnable sections, and a downhill through a field. The surface is an old logging road with a wide double-track trail.

  • Youth 5K (children 16 and under)

Runners are responsible for tracking their own loops; there is no per-loop time limit. Crews and aid are permitted anywhere on course. Participants must provide their own race setup and personal nutrition; water and electrolytes will be available from the organizer. Large permanent tents are not provided; crews may use pop-up canopy-style tents in the designated crew area. Camping is allowed in a large field, with rules restricting camping tents in the start/finish area.

Training plans and camping gear rentals are offered by the organizer. The event is hosted by BMFJ Events on private property and operates under a no-refund, no-deferral policy. Hell Mary 6 Hour is a flat 1 mile loop endurance race in Watertown, TN on July 18, 2026. It features 6, 12, and 24 hour divisions, chip timing, assigned 10x10 aid areas, and a strict no aid on the running loop policy.

A six mile trail race in Fairview, Tennessee on July 26, 2026 organized by Nashville Running Company. The course features single and double track, aid stations without disposable cups, and prizes for top finishers.

Trail races at Long Hunter State Park outside Nashville with Half Marathon, Marathon and 50K routes that circle Couchville Lake and use the Bryant Grove trail and cliff loop. The course mixes dirt singletrack and paved greenway.
