The Event

The Tennessee Mile is a looped trail race taking place from December 4 to 6, 2026, on private land near Franklin, Tennessee. The course is approximately 1.1 miles per loop with 340 feet of elevation gain. The terrain consists of an old logging road, featuring wide double-track trail, two significant climbs, runnable sections between them, and a downhill finish through a field.

The Format

Participants choose a timed division and run as many loops as they wish within that timeframe. Runners are responsible for tracking their own loops. The available race divisions are:

Logistics and Rules

Runners must provide all their own nutrition; only water and electrolytes will be available on-site. Crews are permitted and can set up pop-up canopies in a designated area to aid their runner. Camping is allowed in a large field, but tents requiring stakes are not permitted in the start/finish area.

The event has specific rules regarding pacing and company runners. These rules vary by division, with some allowing companions at any time and others restricting pacing until later in the race. Pets are strictly prohibited on the property.
