Event and course

The Tennessee Mile is a looped trail race held December 5-7, 2025 near Franklin, TN on private land about 20 minutes from downtown Franklin. The course is a 1.1 mile loop with about 340 feet of elevation gain. The route follows an old logging road - a wide double-track trail - and includes two significant climbs, runnable sections, and a downhill through a field to the start/finish area. Runners are responsible for tracking their own loops and may complete as many or as few loops as they choose within each division time limit.

Crew and aid may be provided anywhere on course. Runners must bring their own crew setup; large communal tents will not be provided. Camping is allowed in the big field; camping tents requiring stakes are not permitted in the start/finish area. Crews may use pop-up canopy-style tents in the crew area. The event will supply water and electrolytes; all other nutrition must be provided by individual runners. Training plans and camping gear or tent rentals are available for purchase. There are no refunds or deferrals for this event. House rules prohibit pets and restrict access to the house, porch, and hunting stands.
