Long Hunter Trail Runs takes place within Long Hunter State Park, a few miles outside the Nashville city limits. The event starts and finishes in a wide-open field near Couchville Lake where deer and turkeys are sometimes present. Distances offered:

Course and event details
All distances circumnavigate Couchville Lake, include an out-and-back on the Bryant Grove trail, and run the cliff trail loop. The half marathon also uses the Inland Trail. The marathon and 50K extend onto different lengths of the Jones Mill trail. The course surface is a mix of trail and paved trail/asphalt; the 2-mile trail around Couchville Lake is a paved greenway. Roads connect some trail segments.
Registration closes Wed, Oct 8 at 11:59 PM CT. Refund and deferral policy:
- 4+ weeks before event: 100% refund or deferral
- 2 to 4 weeks: 50% refund or 100% race credit/deferral
- 1 week before event: 50% race credit
