Event overview

The 5th Annual 7th President 7K Run takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage in Nashville, TN (4580 Rachel’s Lane, 37076). The event includes a 7K run and a 2-mile walk on the historic grounds of the Hermitage. Timing is not chip-timed; a rolling time clock will be provided. The event is held rain or shine and all registrations are final.

Course and logistics

The course is described as cross-country with paved paths, open fields, grass, a small portion of trail, and some paved road. Notable on-course landmarks include Tulip Grove Mansion, Hermitage Church (built in 1824), and the Hermitage Mansion, which serves as the finish area. Strollers are not recommended due to unpaved sections; if used, they should start at the back of the group. Dogs are not allowed on the course during the race; leashed dogs are permitted on the grounds afterward when using an included Grounds Pass.

Entry, packet pick-up and extras

Packet pick-up is available the day before at Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet and on race day at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. The first 300 registrants receive a custom medal and a Grounds Pass valid through October 17, 2027. Registrations completed by September 14, 2026, include a commemorative race T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners. Parking access is via the Old Hickory Blvd entrance; volunteers and signage will direct participants.
