The President 7K Run and a 2 Mile Walk take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event is hosted on the historic grounds of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage in Nashville, Tennessee.

Course Details

The main event is a 7K cross-country run. The course includes paved paths, open fields, grass, a small portion of trail, and paved road. It passes by historic landmarks like Tulip Grove Mansion, the Hermitage Church (built in 1824), and finishes at The Hermitage Mansion. A 2-mile walking course is also available.

Registration and Participation

Registration is listed at $40. The event uses a rolling time clock; it is not chip-timed. Prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners of the 7K run.

Participant Information

Strollers are not recommended due to unpaved sections of the course. Dogs are not allowed on the course during the race. A Grounds Pass to The Hermitage, valid for one year, is included for the first 300 registrants. Registrants by September 14, 2026, also receive a commemorative race T-shirt.

Packet pickup is available on Friday, October 16, at Fleet Feet Mt. Juliet in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, or on race day at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage.
