Race details

Distances offered:

  • 200 miles
  • 100 miles

The course is a 2-mile loop on mostly single-track trails that passes black slate springs and ridge lines. Runners must use GPS to log distance; organizers will provide a form of loop tracking but participants need to verify their own distance. Runners may leave and return to the race during the event.

Time limits and awards:

  • The 200-mile race has a 120-hour time limit. Finishers of the 200 receive a jacket and buckles.
  • The 100-mile race has a 48-hour time limit. Buckles are awarded to 100-mile finishers. An early start option is available for the 100, but early or late starts make a runner ineligible for podium placement. Dropping from the 200 to finish the 100 also makes a runner ineligible for podiums and requires stopping at 100 miles.

Support and rules: Runners are self-supported; organizers will serve breakfast and dinner, electrolytes, some aid-station items such as broth and soups, and will provide water jugs. Pets are not allowed. Camp setup rentals are available for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
