Crew access is limited to designated rest stops and roadside stopping on the Natchez Trace Parkway is prohibited; violations may result in runner disqualification. Cutoff policies apply at roughly the 23 mile and 46 mile marks on the 50 mile course.

HardRuck ruck divisions are separated into a traditional ruck division and a weighted vest division. Weight requirements are defined by bodyweight tiers and approved weight types.
