Bell Ringer Trail Run
The Bell Ringer Trail Run takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee. The event uses the park trail network and offers multiple race distances that run through wooded terrain with a mix of uphill and downhill sections. The course is described as moderate in difficulty and includes sections on a mountain bike trail that is open to runners on race day only. Distances offered:
- 50K: about 31 miles, race shirt, swag bag, extra gift
- 25K: about 15 miles, race shirt, swag bag
- 15K: about 9 miles, race shirt, swag bag
Aid stations are located approximately every 5 to 6 miles and provide water and assorted snacks; each aid station will vary. The event is cupless, so participants must carry their own water bottle or hydration pack. Drop bags are allowed and can be sent to Aid Station 3, located at mile 8.8, 15.1, and 29.8.
Awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Awards are made from park wood and are locally engraved. All finishers receive a finisher medal.
