Bell Ringer Trail Run
The Bell Ringer Trail Run is scheduled for December 12, 2026 at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee. The event offers multiple distances that use the park trail network and benefit the Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park.
The course contains multiple uphill and downhill sections and terrain of moderate difficulty. Route and elevation maps are provided for the 50K and 25K courses and a set of routes is available on ridewithgps. A note from organizers indicates the mountain bike trail segments may be run only on the day of the event; those trails are reserved for mountain bikes on other days. Course maps are approximations and are subject to change.
Aid stations are placed at roughly 5 to 6 mile intervals and supply water and assorted snacks such as whole fruit, pretzels, candies, and fig bars. The race is cupless; participants must bring their own water bottle or hydration pack.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance and all finishers receive medals. Awards are made from local wood and engraved locally. Drop bags are allowed and can be routed to Aid Station 3. Race entries include a race shirt and swag bag; the 50K entry includes an additional gift.
