Bell Ringer Trail Run - Montgomery Bell State Park
The Bell Ringer Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2026 at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee. The event offers three trail distances and uses the park's trail network. The course includes multiple uphill and downhill sections and is described as terrain of moderate difficulty.

Aid stations are placed approximately every 5 to 6 miles and provide water and assorted snacks such as whole fruit, pretzels, candies, and fig bars. The event is cupless; participants must supply their own water bottle or hydration pack. Drop bags are allowed; bins at the conference center will send bags to Aid Station 3 at mile 8.8, 15.1, and 29.8.
The 50K has elapsed time cutoffs at specified course points: a 2 hour cutoff at mile 7, a 6 hour cutoff at mile 21, an 8 hour cutoff at mile 27.25, and a 9.5 hour final cutoff at the finish. Runners arriving after these cutoffs will be asked to stop and will be offered transportation back to the inn.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race. Awards are wood items crafted from park wood by the Dickson County Woodturners and all finishers receive medals.
