Hell Mary : Saturday, July 18, 2026

Hell Mary is an endurance running event held at 10010 Statesville Road, Watertown, TN. Organizers describe the course as a flat, 1-mile loop across an open field with minimal shade and optional creek access for cooling. The loop has an approximate elevation gain of 10 to 20 feet per mile. Each participant receives a designated 10x10 personal aid area.

The event offers multiple time-based divisions, including 6 hour, 12 hour day, 12 hour night (new for 2026), and 24 hour. Placement is determined by miles completed within the chosen division. A 100 mile belt buckle is available for purchase for eligible finishers for a stated cost of $75; buckles are optional and not included with registration.

Two separate HardRuck categories run in 2026: a rucking division and a weighted vest division. Weight standards (dry weight) are 20 lbs for participants over 150 lbs and 10 lbs for participants under 150 lbs. Timing uses a new chip system; all participants must wear a bib on the front of shorts or shirt.

This is a no aid course on the loop. No food, drink, ice, gear, pacing, handoffs, or assistance are allowed on the loop; receiving aid outside a designated aid area leads to immediate disqualification. Only registered participants are allowed on the course. Camping and campers are allowed; porta-johns and running water are provided, but no electricity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
