Canal Corridor 100 Mile Endurance Run
The Canal Corridor Endurance Run is a multi-distance ultramarathon held October 10 and 11, 2026, in downtown Akron, Ohio. Distances offered for 2026 are:
- 100 Mile
- Front Half 50 Mile
- Back Half 50 Mile
The start and finish are at Missing Falls Brewery in Akron. The course follows the Ohio and Erie Canalway Towpath Trail, a crushed limestone trail that is roughly 70% limestone and 30% asphalt. The full 100 mile course records about 1,500 feet of elevation gain overall. The Front Half 50 Mile has approximately 950 feet of elevation gain and the Back Half 50 Mile about 550 feet.
Courses are USATF certificated and sanctioned for 2026, and the 100 mile event serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Western States Endurance Run lottery. Aid and water stations are placed approximately every 4 to 6 miles and alternate between staffed full aid stations and unstaffed water and gel stations; staffed stations offer water, electrolyte drink, and various foods with hot food available overnight.
Online registration opens February 1 2026 and closes October 8 2026, with a total event capacity of 500 entrants and a waitlist process if capacity is reached. Packet pickup is available on the days before and the morning of the race. The event publishes refund, transfer, and distance switch policies and enforces cutoff times for each distance.
