Event Features

Participants can expect a course with mud, hills, and obstacles. The course has potential tripping hazards and technical running surfaces. The race uses a staggered start based on a runner's estimated finish time. Each participant's time is recorded by two independent timekeepers.

The event includes a team competition called the Top Dogz Team Awards. A team must have five members, and a team name must be provided during registration. The winning team is decided by its aggregate time.

Participant Information

Entry to the event includes a medal for all finishers and event photographs. There is also a post-run drink for participants and their dogs. Trophies are awarded to the first male and female individual finishers. The winning team also receives medals for each member.

A minimum age of 16 years is required for human participants. Dogs must be over 1 to 1.5 years old on the event date. Dogs must be under the control of an adult at all times. All dogs must wear a suitable running harness attached to a bungee line and waist belt.

The event provides veterinary cover and first aid, including canine first aid. Ten percent of the entry fee is donated to an animal charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
