Born 2B Wild III : overview
Born 2B Wild III takes place on Sunday, 08 March 2026 at Hamsterley Forest. The event is a trail race of about 5k (ish) featuring natural trail terrain with mud, hills and obstacles. The race uses a staggered start based on each entrant's estimated time. Maximum field size is 50 entrants and entries close on 02/03/2026. Entrants must be at least 16 years old.
What is included and key rules
Entry includes a finisher medal, trophies for first male and first female individual finishers, event photographs, and a post-run drink for participant and dog. Medals are also awarded to each member of the Top Dogz team. Veterinary cover, first aid and canine first aid cover are provided. The event donates 10% of entry fees to an animal charity.
Teams for the Top Dogz Award must consist of five members and the team name must be entered at registration. Team awards are decided by aggregate time (total time divided by five). Times are recorded by two independent timekeepers.
The organiser is Fit2The Core Training Systems Ltd. Entries are non-refundable but may be transferred or deferred if the request is made before the entry cut-off date. The course includes potential tripping hazards and technical surfaces, and appropriate clothing and footwear are required.
