Big Foot Trail Run
The Big Foot Trail Run takes place on April 25, 2026 and is part of the Alpine Trail Race Series Season 3 (ATRS 3.0). The event is held at Mt. Airy Forest Playground in Cincinnati, OH 45223. The course uses off-road trails inside Mt. Airy Forest, a park of nearly 1,500 acres with an extensive trail system.
Available race distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon two loops of the 10K route
- 30K three loops of the 10K route ITRA UTMB index race
Race features and rules are stated for all events. All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. Half marathon and 30K finishers receive a finisher t shirt; shirts are available for purchase for other distances. Many 5K and 10K events have a theme and costume awards are given. Walkers are welcome and no dogs are allowed on the course. Entry fees are non refundable and the organizer reserves the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. A five hour course time limit applies.
The event is part of the ATR Live Race Series. Participants who complete ATR qualifying races are enrolled in the series and receive points by placing. Series awards go to the top three participants by points in each age and sex category and are mailed on December 1st. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
