The Beachside Dash is an annual fun run. It raises funds and awareness for the St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF). The event is now in its 19th year.

Event Details

The event takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026. It starts and finishes at Depena Reserve, Dolls Point, Sydney. The course runs along the Botany Bay foreshore.

Race Options

Participants can choose from several race options:

  • 10km (timed race)
  • 5km (timed race)
  • 2km (timed race incorporating the School Cup Challenge and Family Fun Run)
  • Corporate Cup Challenge (a 2km team race)

On the Day

All participants receive a medal. There are prizes for winners. The event has a dedicated Recovery Area after the finish line. There is also live entertainment, food and coffee options, and a playground for kids.
