Beachside Dash and Family Fun Run

The Beachside Dash is an annual community fun run that raises funds and awareness for the St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF). The 2025 event was held at Depena Reserve, Dolls Point, with a Botany Bay backdrop. The 2025 edition was the event's 18th year; 1,004 people took part and the event raised over $100,000 for medical research. The day included timed races, prize placings, medals for all participants and a recovery area introduced in 2025. The event also featured family entertainment, coffee, a barbeque and a community playground. Schools competed for the 2025 top fundraising school.

Timed races incorporated the School Cup Challenge. The 2025 program included an inaugural Corporate Cup Challenge, a 2 km corporate race.
