Event overview
The Southern Sydney Track Ultra is an ultra-distance track running event organised by Ultra Running NSW. It is planned for the weekend of 4–5 July 2026 (date to be confirmed) and will be the sixth running of the event. The meeting includes the Australian 24 Hour National Championships and is IAU Silver labelled and sanctioned. Entries for the 2026 event are scheduled to open in December 2025. Volunteers are requested to assist at the event.
Races and venue
The event takes place at the Campbelltown Athletics Track, Campbelltown Sports Centre, Leumeah, NSW (511 Pembroke Rd). The competition will be held on a newly laid and re-measured 400 m synthetic track. The programme spans two days and includes five race options:
- 24 hour
- 12 hour
- 6 hour
- 3 hour
- 42.2 km (Marathon)
The 24 hour race will also serve as the host for the 2026 Australian 24 Hour National Championships. The schedule places an evening marathon among the listed race formats. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
