North Head Night Run

The North Head Night Run takes place in Manly, New South Wales. This evening event utilizes the roads and trails throughout North Head, offering participants views of the Sydney Harbour, the city skyline, and the Northern Beaches area. The meeting point for the event is located near the Stone Arch and Bluefish Drive on Darley Road.

Participants can choose between two specific distances:

  • 5 km
  • 8 km

The event is organized by the Manly Beach Running Club. Registration opens on-site before the runs begin, and there is a formal presentation ceremony held after the conclusion of the races. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in the categories provided.

Specific safety gear is required for all participants due to the timing of the event. Every runner must carry or wear a head torch or a dedicated running light. Additionally, the use of reflective clothing or a high-visibility vest is mandatory for participation. The courses are outlined via GPS routes for both the shorter and longer distances to assist with navigation through the North Head area.
