Winter Trails of Manly Dam

Winter Trails of Manly Dam is a single-day trail running event at Manly Dam, 112 King St, scheduled for 2 August 2026. The event offers four race distances that use an 8 km looping circuit around the reservoir and across the Manly Dam Bridge.

  • 8 km one lap of Manly Dam
  • 16 km two laps of Manly Dam
  • 24 km three laps of Manly Dam
  • 32 km four laps of Manly Dam

The 8 km loop is a marked course that follows the water’s edge and includes a descent and bridge crossing. The event is fully timed with live tracking and instant results. Aid stations will be positioned along the route and event tickets include a nutrition pack. First aid is provided on site by St John’s Ambulance. A race commentator will provide on-course announcements and there will be sponsor awards, participant medals, and community recognitions.

On-site facilities include a car park within 10 metres of the registration area, toilets and outdoor showers within 20 metres, and paid parking near the main start area. The organisers operate a no plastic policy and provide bubblers at the registration area; participants are asked to use refillable 500 ml water bottles. Ticket prices start from $85. Ticket transfers are allowed with a $20 administration fee; upgrades and downgrades can be processed through Active MyEvents with no refunds for downgrades. The event raises awareness and donations for Alpha-1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
