Manly Dam Trail Run

The Manly Dam Trail Run takes place at Manly Dam, 112 King St, on 2 August 2026. The event offers four entry categories based on repeated laps of an 8 km loop that follows the water’s edge and crosses the Manly Dam Bridge.

  • 8 km One lap of Manly Dam
  • 16 km Two laps of Manly Dam
  • 24 km Three laps of Manly Dam
  • 32 km Four laps of Manly Dam

The event is fully timed with live tracking and instant results. Aid stations will be provided, and nutrition packs are included with event tickets. The course will be clearly marked. First aid is supplied by St John’s Ambulance. There will be post event food and drinks available for purchase. Sponsor awards and participant medals are part of the event program. A race commentator will provide live race announcements.

Practical details noted by the organiser include a no plastic policy requiring refillable water bottles, paid parking near the registration and start area, and onsite facilities such as toilets and outdoor showers within about 20 metres. Ticket transfers are allowed for a $20 administration fee. Distance changes can be made through the participant’s Active MyEvents account; downgrades do not receive refunds and upgrades require payment of the price difference.

The event also raises awareness and funds for Alpha-1, a charity focused on Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
