Overview

A social trail running session held on 15 October 2025 to practise headtorch running ahead of the Illuminator race. The session is led by a trail running coach and lasts one hour. Practical details

The meeting point is on the road off Dee Street toward Scolty Woods, at the parking lay-by on the right-hand side about 50 metres up the road by a community noticeboard and recycling bins. The cost is £6 per person and payment is made via EntryCentral. Refunds will be issued only if the session is cancelled by the organiser. Photographs and video footage may be taken during the session; participants should notify the organiser before the session if they do not wish to be filmed. All participants accept responsibility for their own health and fitness and declare they are medically fit to take part; it is advised to consult a doctor before undertaking strenuous exercise.
