The Bad Santa Trail 5K takes place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, Michigan. The event includes a 5K and a kids fun run. Youth pricing for the 5K is $25 for participants 15 years and younger. The kids fun run is open to children 10 years and under and is shorter in distance.

The course uses a mix of dirt and blacktop trails and includes rolling hills. Organizers note that trail conditions in December may include snow, ice, or mud. Trail running shoes, hiking shoes, or traction devices such as Yak Tracks are recommended for better footing.

Additional information

Finishers in the kids fun run receive the same swag as 5K finishers. Awards for the 5K are given by male and female categories in these age groups: 0-19, 20-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
