The Adelaide Trail Runners Summer Series 2025-26 is a five-race trail running series. The opening event is at Black Hill, Athelstone on 23 November 2025. The series includes a new event called Surf Run, which is the final race in March 2026. Entries are open and a five-race series entry option is offered.

  • 15 March 2026 - Port Elliot (Surf Run)

Series format and entry

Distances offered include:

  • Long Course: 18-22 km
  • Medium Course: 13-15 km
  • Short Course: 8-10 km
  • 5 km option

Minimum ages: Long Course 15 years, Medium Course 12 years, Short Course 10 years (exceptions by prior permission). The minimum number of races to qualify for series awards is four out of five races; a start counts even if a runner is later disqualified or withdraws due to injury. Age group categories move to 10-year increments (20-29, 30-39, etc.). Age classification is determined by age on 11 January 2026. Prizes are awarded only in male and female categories; entrants must register in the category of their gender at birth to be eligible for prizes. Non-binary entrants are welcome but no prizes are offered for those categories.

Points are awarded for top five placings. Only the best four scores count. Race 5 carries 50% bonus points. Overall distance winners receive medals at end-of-season presentations and cannot also win their age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
