Series format and entries
To qualify for series awards a competitor must start at least four of the five races. Only the best four scores count. Age group categories move to 10-year increments for 2025-26 (for example 20-29, 30-39). Points are awarded to top five overall and top five in each age group. Points distribution for Races 1-4 is 1st 25, 2nd 16, 3rd 12, 4th 9, 5th 7. Race 5 carries 50% bonus points (1st 38, 2nd 24, 3rd 18, 4th 14, 5th 11). A start that ends in disqualification or withdrawal counts toward the minimum four races but yields no points. Overall distance winners take precedence over age group wins. Standard and late entry fees are listed by distance, and a five-race series entry is offered with a 15% discount for all five races. Winners’ medals and age group awards are presented at end-of-season presentations, usually held in May. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
