Summer Series 2025-26 overview

The Adelaide Trail Runners Summer Series 2025-26 comprises five trail races held between November and March. The scheduled dates and locations are: 23 November 2025 at Black Hill (Athelstone), 14 December 2025 at Bridgewater, 11 January 2026 at Belair National Park, 22 February 2026 at Cleland National Park, and 15 March 2026 at Port Elliot for the new "Surf Run" event. The series will mark the club’s fifth anniversary at the opening event. Entries open midday Friday 26 September. Bib pick-up is on race morning from 6:30 am onwards.

Format, distances, points and entry details

Distances offered include:

  • Long Course - 18-22 km
  • Medium Course - 13-15 km
  • Short Course - 8-10 km
  • 5 km option

Minimum ages: Long Course 15 years, Medium Course 12 years, Short Course 10 years (exceptions by prior permission). Cut-off times are Long 3.5 hours, Medium 3 hours, Short 2.5 hours, 5 km 2 hours.

Series scoring requires a start in at least four of the five races to qualify for awards. Age groups move to 10-year increments (20-29, 30-39, etc.). Points for races 1-4 are 25, 16, 12, 9, 7 for places 1-5. Race 5 awards 50% bonus points (38, 24, 18, 14, 11). Only the best four scores count.
