About the race

The Belair National Park race is Race 3 of the Adelaide Trail Runners Summer Series 2026-27, held on 17 January 2027 as one of six series events. Belair hosts the XL Course (listed as 27 km for Belair only) and contributes to both the overall series and the separate XL three-race series that also includes Robe Run 42.2 km and Surf Run 30 km. Series scoring for Belair follows the event points table used at Cleland North, Bridgewater, Belair and Cleland South: 1st 25, 2nd 16, 3rd 12, 4th 9 and 5th 7. The XL Course at Belair has a cut-off time of 4 hours.

Age group classification for the series is determined by age on 17 January 2027. For the XL series, age categories are Under 25, 25-40, 40-55 and 55+. Prizes are awarded in male and female categories only; runners must enter in the category of their gender at birth to be eligible for prizes.

Non-binary participants are accepted but are not eligible for prize categories. Minimum age for XL and Long Course entry is 15 years. Bib pick-up is available on race morning from 6:30am. Only the best four scores from the six races count toward series totals, and competitors must start at least four races to qualify for series awards.
