ACORN South By Five - Linn Park
ACORN South By Five is offering a single event entry for the Linn Park date on 15 November 2026. This entry covers one 5 km park race within the South By Five series.
The series visits six parks over a 12 week period, with a 5 km event held in each park: Kings Park (1 November), Linn Park (15 November), Rouken Glen (29 November), Pollok Park (13 December), Bellahouston Park (3 January), and Queens Park (17 January). Participants who complete at least 5 of the 6 races are recognised as a "Fiver".
Entries may be for a single event or for the full series. Full series entries include a condition: if an entrant fails to attend two of the first three events their series entry will be withdrawn and offered to the waiting list with no refund. The Linn Park event has a total of 65 places available.
Race entry is free but includes a mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund. The fund supports coach and first aid training, donations to local causes, and investment in trails and parks. The organiser also supports the local charity Give A Dog A Bone, which helps over 60s to adopt rescue animals.
Additional options and Sx5 merchandise are available during sign up, with merch unavailable after August. Each park will have an organised litter pick; details will be provided closer to the date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
