ACORN South By Five - Linn Park

ACORN South By Five at Linn Park is a single 5 km event scheduled for 15 November 2026. This entry covers one event only and is part of the South By Five series, which visits six parks across a 12 week period.

The series stages a 5 km race in each park. To complete the series and earn the title "Fiver," a runner must finish five of the six events. The six parks and their event dates are published as part of the series schedule, with Linn Park listed for 15 November 2026.

Individual race entry is free, but there is a mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund. The fund supports grassroots development, coach and first aider training, donations to local causes, and maintenance of trails and parks. Entrants are encouraged to bring donations to the local foodbank in lieu of an entry fee where possible.

A full series entry option is available. If a series entrant fails to attend two of the first three events, the series entry will be withdrawn and offered to the waiting list without refund. Merchandise options are offered during sign-up but will be unavailable after August. Places for the Linn Park event are limited to 65. Each park in the series will also have an organised litter pick with details provided closer to the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
