2 PARKS TRAIL HALF MARATHON AND 5K
The event takes place on May 2, 2027 at Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, MI. The half marathon route departs from Addison Oaks, goes to Bald Mountain, then returns to finish at Addison Oaks. The 5K route is entirely within Addison Oaks Park.
- Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles
- 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 Miles
The course uses a new trail that links the two parks and includes a crossing of Lake George Road; runners should be aware of vehicular traffic at that crossing. Addison Oaks Park will close its mountain bike trails on race day; Bald Mountain State remains open to bikers, runners and hikers. Dogs are not allowed on the course due to liability insurance.
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes January 31, 2027. Early pricing through January 31 is listed as $50 for the half marathon and $30 for the 5K. The event will be capped at 300 slots. Race day packet pick up is scheduled at the start/finish area inside the Lake Lodge building from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
Registered participants receive a choice of two short sleeve shirts, a finisher medal, a reusable cup, aid station service and a post race party with food. Shirt size is not guaranteed after April 20. Parking at the park is free. Awards are given overall, masters, and by age group categories.
