Course and logistics

Distances offered:

  • 30K - two loops (approx. 18.6 miles)
  • 15K - one loop (approx. 9.3 miles)
  • 4 Mile - course entirely inside Addison Oaks Park

The course starts and finishes at the Timber Ridge Pavilion and runs from Addison Oaks to Bald Mountain and back. Most of the route is on single- and wide-track dirt trails, with 1.5 miles of dirt road connecting the two parks (.75 mile each way). A new trail links the parks and crosses Lake George Road; runners should be aware of vehicular traffic at that crossing. The event is cupless: one HydraPak cup is provided at check-in for reuse at aid stations; additional cups are available for purchase. Packet pick up is race day only at the start/finish area. Dogs are not allowed on the course. A cutoff requires starting the second 30K loop by a set time and a 5.5 hour time limit applies to the longer distances.
