2 PARKS TRAIL HALF MARATHON AND 5K
The event takes place on May 2, 2027 at Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard, Michigan. It offers trail running routes that use trails in Addison Oaks and Bald Mountain State Park.
Distances offered:
- Half marathon traversing both Addison Oaks Park and Bald Mountain
- 5K route within Addison Oaks Park
The half marathon route starts at Addison Oaks Park, proceeds to Bald Mountain, and returns to finish at Addison Oaks Park. The course uses a new trail that links the two parks and includes a crossing of Lake George Road; runners should be aware of vehicular traffic at that crossing. Maps are noted as coming soon.
Registration includes a choice of a Next Level soft short sleeve unisex shirt or an upgrade to a unisex tech short sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, a reusable cup, aid stations, and a post race party with food. Shirt orders will be placed on April 20 and sizes are not guaranteed after that date.
Packet pick up is on race day from 7:00 am to 9:00 am at the start/finish area inside the Lake Lodge building at Addison Oaks Park. Parking is free. The event will be capped at 300 participants.
Awards are planned for overall and masters winners and for the top three male and female finishers in age groups 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Addison Oaks will close its mountain bike trails to bikers for the day; Bald Mountain remains open to all users.
