Trail Running calendar near Vernal 2026-2027

An endurance elimination race on July 18, 2026 at McCoy Flats Trail Head, Vernal, Utah. Competitors run repeated 4.1 mile laps each hour, must finish each lap within the hour, and the last runner earns cash per lap.

Multiple race distances on the Sheep Creek Geological Loop finish at Navajo Cliffs Picnic Area with volunteer timing, prize categories, participant packets, and transportation from the finish to the start areas.

A 50 mile relay through Ashley National Forest on August 15, 2026, with solo and team options (8, 4, or 2 people). Support vehicles allowed and no aid stations.

Trail loop races at Massey Meadow feature a half marathon and a 10K through Dry Fork Canyon with Flume Trail views, measured aid stations, elevation gain, and a cash prize for new course records.
