The McCoy Flat Death Race takes place on July 18, 2026, at McCoy Flats Trail Head in Vernal, UT 84078. The event uses a repeated-lap format with each lap measuring 4.1 Mi. Format and prizes

Runners must complete each lap within one hour and must begin each lap exactly at the top of the hour; failure to finish a lap within the hour or to start on time results in elimination. Laps repeat until only one runner remains. Monetary prizes are awarded per lap to the final finishers: the last remaining runner receives $50 for every lap completed, second place receives $20 per lap, and third place receives $10 per lap.
