Massey Meadow Half

Massey Meadow - Half Marathon and 10K

Massey Meadow hosts a trail Half Marathon and a 10K on a looped route in Dry Fork Canyon at the Massey Meadow Trail Head. The courses pass along the Flume Trail and through areas of fall foliage in the Uinta Mountains within Ashley National Forest. The venue is a short drive from Vernal city.

The Half Marathon covers 13.3 miles with an elevation gain and loss of 1,533 ft. The 10K covers 6.2 miles with an elevation gain and loss of 839 ft. Several aid and water stations are positioned at specific mile markers on each course: the half marathon lists stations roughly at 1.75, 4.3, 6.9, 8.3, 10.3, and 12.1 miles; the 10K lists stations roughly at 1.75, 3.15, and 5.2 miles.

When a course record is broken, the runner who sets the new record receives a cash prize. Cash prizes are awarded for both male and female course record setters; a new course record cash prize is stated as $100.
