Trail Running calendar near Livermore 2025-2026

Run the 42nd annual Lake Chabot Trail Challenge on June 7, 2026 in Castro Valley, with a scenic hilly half marathon or a 5K featuring ridge line views of Mt Diablo and the Bay. Chip timed races, finisher medals, and on site packet pick up.

Run the Bay Area 100 on June 13 2026 a scenic 100 mile point to point ultramarathon from UC Berkeley to Skyline HS in Oakland. Expect 18,000 feet of climbing across ridgelines, redwood forest and lake shore trails; field limited to 150.

On July 11 join the San Lorenzo River Trail Run in Santa Cruz and run through coastal redwoods and scenic river crossings. Distances range from 10K to 50K, pre registered runners get T shirts and all finishers earn a custom medal.

Run the historic Skyline 50K or half marathon on scenic looped trails around Lake Chabot Marina. Enjoy aid stations, finisher swag, and classic East Bay singletrack on one of the nation's longest continuous 50 kilometer events.

Run the Redwood Summer Trail Run in Oakland on August 15, 2026, with distances from a kids dash to a rugged 50K through scenic Redwood Regional Park. Pre registered runners get a tee and all finishers receive a custom medal.

Run the classic Dick Collins Firetrails at Lake Chabot Marina, with 100k, 50 mile and marathon options across scenic Bay Area trails. Challenging yet well supported and UTMB indexed, the 43rd edition returns Sept 26, 2026.

Join the 39th Ruth Anderson Memorial Endurance Run in San Francisco on October 10, 2026. Run scenic loops around Lake Merced on a certified course with 50k and 50 mile options and aid stations for a memorable autumn ultramarathon.
