No Foolin' Foot Race : San Carlos, CA
The No Foolin' Foot Race takes place on April 24, 2027 at Crestview Park, 1000 Crestview Drive, San Carlos, California. The event is presented by Kaiser Permanente in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos and the City of San Carlos. Net proceeds benefit maintenance and improvement of San Carlos open space trails.
Distances and course notes:
- 15K Long Course: includes Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve and trail sections.
- 10K route includes approximately 3/4 mile pavement on Brittan Ave and Brittan Gut Buster.
- 5K exclusively trail through Big Canyon Park with significant climbing.
- 1K Kids roughly 1K trail with about 350 ft of climbing.
Registration and fees are provided per event with these listed fees: $65 for the 15K, $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K, and $20 for the 1K kids course. Pre-registration for the kids race is closed; children may register on race morning though shirts and finisher medals are not guaranteed. Race morning registration closes promptly at 9:00.
Course previews are scheduled in March in partnership with A Runner's Mind and Brooks. The event features a start and finish festival at Crestview Park, professional timing, tech shirts and free runner photos for participants, and awards in multiple categories. Street parking is available on Brittan Ave and Crestview Drive; there is no participant parking at Crestview Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
