Tackle Lockton Limping, a scenic fell race across the North York Moors covering 11.2 km with 350 m of climb and sweeping views. Entry is on the day at Lockton Village Hall, perfect for both competitive and social runners.

Obstacle-course race at Aske estate for dogs and owners, with 5 km and 10 km routes, dozens of marked obstacles and an 850 m muddy assault section.

A Halloween themed trail event on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal in Kirkstall offering distances from a family friendly 1 mile to ultra marathon. The licensed course is marshalled and features drink stations, Halloween medals and spot prizes.

Trail Outlaws stages Dark Skies Run @ Wooler in Northumberland with fully marked trails, stocked check points and options for a Trail 10k or a Half Marathon. Entry fees shown range from £25 to £36.
