Gibside Wild New Year Trail Runs
The event offers new 5 Mile and 10 Mile trail races across the Gibside National Trust estate in Rowlands Gill, NE16 6BG. The estate covers over 600 acres of gardens, woodland, and countryside and features an 18th century designed landscape, historic architecture such as a Neo-classical chapel, a restored stable block, and a large ruin. Deer and other wildlife may be seen along the routes.

- 5 Mile Trail Run (Age 15+)
- 10 Mile Trail Run (Age 17+)
The routes and route maps will be confirmed before the event. The event is Canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North, with results available throughout the event. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. There is an optional event T-shirt available for £14.00. Free parking is available on site.
