Gibside Wild New Year Trail Runs
The event offers new trail run options set within Gibside National Trust, Rowlands Gill, NE16 6BG. The course runs through over 600 acres of gardens, woodland, and countryside in an 18th-century designed landscape. Notable features on or near the routes include the Neo-classical Chapel, a restored stable block, and a grand ruin, and runners may spot deer on the course.
Distances available:
- 5 Mile Trail Run (age 15 and over)
- 10 Mile Trail Run (age 17 and over)
The routes are to be confirmed. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North, with results published during the event. The event is Canicross friendly; one controlled dog per runner is permitted.
All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. There is an option to add an exclusive event T-shirt for £14.00. Entry prices are listed from £26.00 to £30.00 depending on distance. Free parking is available on site.
