Trail Running calendar near Peterborough 2026-2027

A last person standing backyard ultra at Gosfield School in Essex where runners repeat *4.167-mile* loops each hour until one runner remains. The event includes camping, showers, a small aid station and a prize for the winner.

A 10 km fell race in Eyam on 1 September 2026 with a 3 km junior race for ages 11 to 16. Prizes are supplied by the Barrel Inn and a BBQ and bar are available in the courtyard.

A 7.1 km fell race on the Longshaw estate in September 2026, using the estate’s new route and 237 m of climb. Entry includes admission to Britain’s oldest sheepdog trials plus food and grandstand seating.

A muddy obstacle-course event in Brentwood on 5 September 2026 with 1.5 km and 5 km options, on-course obstacles, foam and water features, finish-line wash facilities and family-friendly arrangements.

A women only 5 km obstacle course that emphasises teamwork and community. The course features low upper body obstacles, water features without full submersion, hot wash downs and a finisher medal.

A 27 km fell race around Totley with about 1,066 m of climb. The partly marshalled route crosses moorland, tracks and lanes, requires self navigation under FRA rules and mandatory kit, and offers two water stations with no cups provided.
