Cambridgeshire - 2026 Medal Run

The event takes place in Riverside Park, Regatta Meadow, St Neots, beside the River Great Ouse on Sunday 3 January 2027. It is a timed, lap-based medal run offering multiple distance options and a six hour overall time limit.

Participants run an out-and-back course of approximately 5.3 km (3.28 miles) per lap around Regatta Meadow and adjacent paths. Surfaces are a mix of footpaths and grass and the course has minimal elevation change, making it relatively flat.

Distances available include:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

The format allows entrants to complete as many or as few laps as they wish, with a minimum distance equal to one lap. The event operates a flexible "rock up and run" policy within a one hour start window. All finishers receive a physical finishers' medal or giveaway memento; the organiser notes that medals from 2026 will be available subject to availability.

Entry fees are listed by the organiser for affiliated and unaffiliated runners. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under under UK Athletics rules. The organiser describes the event as both attended and available for virtual participation, with the same medal provision for both. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
