OMG (One Mile 2 Go) Run : Bawsey Country Park
OMG is a multi-distance trail event held at Bawsey Country Park, PE32 1EP. The course is a lakeside out-and-back on sandy, gravel and grass trails that loop around the water. One out-and-back lap is 5.3 km (3.3 mi), largely off-road and with minimal climb (about 26 m round trip). The route is nearly flat and stacks for longer distances.

Lap structure is used for longer distances: a heavy half marathon is five laps as standard with options to increase laps on the day, and an ultra is nine laps as standard with the option to extend according to time available. The event provides an aid station at Race HQ / base camp at the start and lap point; aid is available each lap. The event operates time cut offs, including a six hour cut off and an alternative four hour cut off for the later start option.
On event day competitors register at the start area visible from the car park. There is no baggage service; participants will pass the car park each lap and parking is included in the event cost, with a parking code to collect. The event has gone cupless so participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. A bespoke finisher medal is available, and virtual places for the medal are offered via the organiser’s website. A GPX file for the course can be downloaded from the course tab.
