Participate in a 9 km fell race through the Durham countryside north of Stanhope. This event is part of the North East Fell Running Championships and features a 300 m climb for runners aged 18 and over.

Experience a traditional FRA category AS fell race in Grasmere featuring a 7.4 km course with 700 m of elevation. This 150 runner event offers a direct ascent to Seat Sandal and a flagged descent through the Cumbrian fells.

A marked high moor fell race of about 7 miles with 366 m of climb in the South/West Pennines on 8 July 2026. Registration is at the Packhorse Inn car park, pre entry is via SiEntries and on the day entry may be limited to 120.

Take on the Borrowdale School Bash up Bessyboot in the Lake District: a short but fierce 5.2 km with 456 m of climb, offering stunning fell views and a real challenge. Entry on the day, with beer and a burger for every finisher.

Experience an undulating 6.4 mile multi terrain course through rural landscapes. This chip timed race starts and finishes at the Royton Cricket Club with full facilities available for all participants.

A three leg fell relay at Danefield Park in Otley with each leg about 4.8 km and 170 m of climb. Teams of three compete across age and gender categories; pre-entry and entry on the day are available for a £12 team fee.

A 10 km adventure run and obstacle course at Holme Sports Field on the edge of the Lake District, held during the village Festival of Sport weekend. Mixed terrain, multiple obstacles, a 5 km option and family activities.

Multiple trail distances run from Ambleside in the Lake District, from a 14k to an Ultra 100k. Routes are waymarked and marshalled with medical cover, feed stations, GPX files and an event village with live commentary.

A long Lakeland fell race of 34 km with 2750 m ascent, mandatory tracker and full FRA kit. The route visits multiple high checkpoints including Scafell Pike and includes flagged valley sections, path running and technical navigation.

Take on the New Embsay Fell Race on Sat 11 Jul: a punchy 2.5 mile course with 195 m of climb through the Yorks Dales. Part of the village fete, enjoy entertainment and refreshments and easy on the day entry for a fun community challenge.

Phoenix Blaze is the second race in a 2026 Summer Series at Hardy Farm on 11 July 2026, featuring timed laps on a 5.3 km riverside course so participants can complete distances from 5 km up to ultra within a seven hour limit.

A countryside trail run at Stonyhurst College on July 11 2026. The **11.1k** route passes rivers, historic bridges and woodland; entry fee is £30 and parking is on college grounds.

Experience a traditional fell race in the West Pennines with the Baildon Canter. This event features a 5 km senior course and multiple junior races held alongside the local Carnival.

A 5 km obstacle event on Town Moor, Newcastle with grass terrain, staggered wave starts and a minimum fundraising target. Participants must be 13 or older; on-site facilities include toilets and refreshments but no parking or wheelchair acc..

The The Sting Backyard Ultra will take place in Richmond (North Yorkshire) on Saturday 11 July 2026. You can run between 4 and 7 kilometers.

A point-to-point trail run from Bury to Rawtenstall alongside the East Lancashire Railway and the River Irwell. Runners try to keep pace with a steam train while supporters can ride the train; finishers receive a medal and T-shirt.

A five-mile multi-terrain race through Arrowe Park featuring woodland trails, grassy paths and gentle undulations. Facilities include chip timing, water stations, on-site toilets, a finisher medal and a goody bag.

A junior fell-racing round at Whinlatter Forest Park on 12 July 2026, with races for U10 to U20 categories and mapped courses of 1.5–5.6 km. Junior entries are by pre-entry only and the event follows FRA rules.

A summertime off road race of about 5 miles along the River Mersey in Sale, organised by Dragons Running Club. The event uses chip timing, provides finish mementos and shares profits with local charities.

Chapelfell Top is an AS graded 7 km fell race in St. John’s Chapel, Weardale featuring 400 m of ascent to the 703 m summit and a return on the same route. The event is organised by Durham Fell Runners and run under FRA rules.
