A new 100-mile team relay in South Devon, split into 16 legs for teams of 10–16 runners, with GPX routes provided, limited entries, and all profits donated to two local charities.

Tour of the Woods on 19 July at Knightwood Leisure Centre is a 10 km mixed terrain run split into five stages, with chip timing, prizes and a kids Twiglet Tour. Portions of proceeds support the Woodland Trust.

A 5 km Pretty Muddy obstacle course at Central Park, Plymouth featuring mixed surfaces, climb-crawl-slide challenges and staggered wave starts. Participants must be 13 or older; a minimum fundraising target and an event medal are included.

A community 7 mile multi terrain race in Tywardreath on 25 July 2026, starting and finishing at the village pub. The hilly course runs on footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes and supports local charities as part of village summer events.

A 100 mile self-navigated ultramarathon along the Beacons Way in the Brecon Beacons with 6143 m ascent, 10 checkpoints, live GPS tracking and mandatory map-and-compass skills; entry requires prior ultramarathon and mountain experience.

A Britney themed 7 hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park offering distances from 3 km up to ultra and 50 km. Aid tables, medals and goody bags are provided, with free parking, toilets and a cafe on site.

A basecamp event at Dunster on 25 July 2026 offering a 50 km loop with about 1600 m of climb plus 25 km and 10 km options, all supported with marquee rest stops, GPS tracking, catering, medical cover and camping.

A 9.3 km fell race near Cwm, Ebbw Vale with 549 m of climb on moorland and a partly waymarked anticlockwise loop. Basic navigation and mountain skills are useful; the event is part of the South Wales Series.

Timed laps on a 2.62 mile out and back canal route with flexible distance options from 5 km up to ultra and a seven hour time limit. Both in person and virtual entries receive a physical medal.

A 5.75 mile multi terrain summer run from the Millpool Centre in West Looe through Kilminorth and Trelawne Woods and along the estuary, with proceeds to Looe Lions local charities.

August 2026

Two organised Dartmoor trail races finishing at Ivybridge Rugby Club: a 33.5 mile baby ultra and a 15.5 mile long half marathon. Both courses are marked and marshalled, offer limited on-course support, bespoke medals, and coach transfers.

Discover the Rose Run with Phoenix Running South Wales at Parc Taf Bargoed, a scenic multi terrain out and back with a repeatable 5.3 km lap to build distances from 5 km to ultra. Rock up and run with staggered starts and limited spots.

A family friendly inflatable obstacle run in Bournemouth on 1 August 2026 with multiple distance options, giant inflatables, finishers medals and on-site facilities for participants and spectators.

Two linear Dartmoor trail races on 1 August 2026 based at Ivybridge Rugby Club. Choose the 33.5-mile Crossing or the 15.5-mile Great Escape; both are fully marked, supported with aid stations, cupless and offer limited on-site camping.

A community-organised road half marathon and multi-terrain 5K around Sturminster Newton on 2 August 2026, with water stations, marshals, a race T-shirt and finish cake. Online entries close 1 August; day entries possible if places remain.

Experience a scenic off road run alongside the River Dart in Devon. This community focused event features an 11km main course and a 1 mile fun run with medals for all finishers and a post race BBQ.

A 4-mile hill run in Westbury on 05 August 2026 that raises funds for Brain Tumour Support; participants receive a pottery memento and prizes are awarded for top finishers and best helmet.

An evening cross country event at North Perrott Cricket Club offering a two-lap 10K and a one-lap 6K fun run. Entries are limited to 250 and all profits support local community projects.

Two trail distances along the Mendip Way on 8 August 2026, finishing at Uphill Sands Beach. The routes feature woodlands, hilltop views and coastal terrain with aid stations and a cupless policy.

Tackle the Sticklepath Horseshoe a 15.5 km fell race over rugged moorland with 519 m climb. Pre entry is limited so book early. Bring map compass and solid navigation skills as this event is not suitable for beginners.
