Trail Running Calendar Manitoba 2026-2027

Trail races at West Hawk Lake with options from 8 km up to a 100 km point to point, plus relays; t shirts, medals, aid stations and food vouchers provided. The 2026 50 km and 100 km routes use the Onishkatoon Gwaykaadiziwin trail.

Groovy Granite is a looped trail event near Lee River Manitoba with 7 km, 14 km and 21 km options along a granite rim. The event features an aid station, a cupless policy, finishers medals and free professional course photos.

A three-race Thursday evening series at Birds Hill Provincial Park near Winnipeg, with events on June 25, July 16, and August 6. Series registration is primary, with bib transfers and possible individual entries if space allows.

A Last Runner Standing event on a family farm near Blumenort, Manitoba, with day singletrack loops and night gravel out and back. Field capped at 75 runners, self supported for food with water and basic snacks provided.

Trail races of 5K, 10K and a half marathon run on mixed double track and single track near Minnedosa MB with measured elevation and aid stations. Race shirts, finisher medals, photos and post race snacks are provided.

Grand Sand 15k is a 15k trail race at Lester Beach that follows the beach, the Trans Canada Trail and the cross country ski trails of Grand Beach. Registration closes June 28 and refunds or deferrals are not permitted.

A vertical kilometer at SpringHill Winter Park where runners repeat a 400 m loop to reach 1,000 m of vertical within 4 hours. Field limited to 100 entries, with aid, medals, photos and post-race barbecue.

A Backyard Ultra on a 6.7056 km trail loop at Little Mountain Park in Winnipeg, mixing prairie and forest. Runners must complete each loop within an hour and the event continues until a single runner remains.

Three quarry-loop courses on August 22, 2026 offer 2.5 K, 5 K and 10 K distances with medals for all finishers. The run is part of regional series and raises funds for Stony Mountain trail and park projects.

A 23 mile in person race at Souris Riverbend Wildlife Management Area pitting runners against riders, with on site check in, waiver signing, and bib distribution.

Trail race at Brandon Hills Wildlife Management Area offering 50K, 25K, 10K and a kids run over single track with significant elevation on the 50K, aid stations on longer courses, cupless policy and age requirements.

Falcon Trail Fest is a two-day stage trail event at Falcon Lake offering single-day and combined distance options. Courses use the new onishkatoon gwaykaadiziwin trail plus granite, forest singletrack and lakeshore sections.

A two day self supported trail run on the Mantario Trail in Whiteshell, Manitoba, covering 64 km with an overnight camp at Moosehead Lake. The event is unorganized and free, requiring full self reliance.

Timed-loop trail race at Beaudry Provincial Park near Winnipeg from October 2 to 4, 2026. Loops of about 5.1 km with solo options of 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours. Registration opens May 10, 2026 at 8:00 AM CT.

A trail event on October 24, 2026 in Pinawa offering a 14 km run and a 5 km run that crosses the Pinawa Suspension Bridge. The course goes through forest and granite rock formations.
