Falcon Trail Fest - Falcon Lake, MB
Falcon Trail Fest is a two-day trail running festival held September 26–27, 2026, at Falcon Ridge Ski Chalet in Whiteshell Provincial Park, Manitoba. The event offers multi-day stage options and single-day races on natural singletrack, granite slabs, ski-hill paths and lakeshore trail.
Race formats and distances include:
- 8K Classic Up & Down
- 16K Classic Up & Down
- 28K Better Half out-and-back
- 42K Altra Loop the Lake marathon
- Half Flight 36K two-day stage (8K + 28K)
- Full Flight 58K two-day stage (16K + 42K)
Course features are listed for each format: ski-hill climbs, steep granite ridgelines, cedar groves, loamy forest trail, rooty technical sections and shoreline views. Vertical gain figures are provided for the main stages (for example 540 m and 592 m on the Full Flight stages, 270 m and 620 m on Half Flight stages).
Support and event services noted by the organizer include fully stocked aid stations, personalized race bibs, custom event shirts, finisher medals, podium awards, a food voucher for Trails End Restaurant, and allocation of UTofMB points for eligible members of the Manitoba Association of Trail Runner.
Operational and participant notes: registration is nonrefundable after entry, bib transfers are allowed until August 25, 2026, a Manitoba Park Pass is required for vehicles on race day, parking is limited, and minimum age rules apply with written parental permission options for minors.
