Groovy Granite
Groovy Granite takes place in Lee River, MB on June 13, 2027. The event uses a looped course on the historic grounds of the AECL Underground Research Laboratory along the rim of a large granite batholith, with views of the Lee River and Boreal Forest.

The event includes bib pickup on race day, a mandatory racer meeting, staggered starts by distance, and a four hour course cutoff. An aid station at the start/finish provides water, Gatorade, snack bars, candy, chips, and a pickle fountain. The race is cupless; participants must bring a reusable cup or hydration pack. Drop bags are available for 14 km and 21 km participants. First aid will be on-site and the Race Director may remove participants for safety reasons.
Finishers receive custom medals and top finishers receive unique awards. A BBQ voucher is included with registration. Early registrants by May 9, 2027 receive a personalized bib. Registration opens February 6, 2027. Parking space is limited. No refunds after registration; bib transfers allowed until June 6, 2027.
