Zombie Trail Fun Run
The Zombie Trail Fun Run is presented by Tyrone-Snyder Public Library, Camp Anderson, and Tyrone Race Series and takes place on October 24, 2026 at Camp Anderson in Tyrone, PA. The course is an approximately 2 miles loop around the camp grounds.
The event invites runners, walkers and participants who sign up as zombies. The run is untimed. Runners wear a flag football belt and bib; there are designated Zombie Zones in which zombies attempt to remove flags. Flags and bibs must remain visible to course officials. Zombies are assigned to zones and may move at a restricted pace while attempting to remove flags; they may remove a limited number of flags per runner while in a zone.
General rules prohibit direct and deliberate physical contact between any runner and zombie. Weapons, drugs, alcohol and pets are not permitted on the property. Photographers may be present and images may be used by the organizers. The course is rugged and weather may affect conditions; event staff and volunteers will be available to assist and to contact security or medical personnel if necessary.
Registration opens June 6, 2026 and closes October 23, 2026. Early registration fees include a short sleeve shirt when registered by October 9. A limited number of zombie spots and shirts are available. Proceeds benefit Tyrone-Snyder Public Library and Camp Anderson.
