Knights on the Run 5K

Knights on the Run 5K is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at the Moshannon Valley Cross Country Course on school property in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania (4934 Green Acre Rd). The event takes place alongside the MVE PTO Craft & Vendor Fair and uses the cross country course on school grounds.

The event distance is 5K and registration information is as follows: pre-registration is $25 and includes a T-shirt if completed before October 1, 2026. Day of event registration is $25 and a T-shirt is not guaranteed. There will be race day check-in and day-of registration at the event. Water will be available at the start/finish location.

Awards are provided for finishers: the top three male and top three female finishers will receive medals, and winners in each gender category will receive a $50 prize.
