Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge
The Yeti Ultra 24 Hour Challenge is a time based running challenge in which participants run 5.2 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours, completing six rounds for a total of 50K. The event is offered as an in person edition in Damascus, Virginia and as a virtual edition.
There is no set course for the challenge. Participants may choose trails, roads, treadmill, parking lot loops, or indoor laps. The in person Yeti Live! edition takes place in Damascus and includes basic aid and on site support. The event description notes there is no official cutoff and that the organizers describe results as self reported.
The virtual edition allows participants to choose their own start time and to complete the six rounds anytime between Jan 1 and Dec 30. One registration covers multiple attempts and participants may attempt the challenge as often as needed through Dec 30. Virtual finishers receive mailed finisher medals and event results are submitted by participants.
