Course, distances, and support
The courses are rolling, mostly wooded single-track trails with lake views. Distances offered:
- 50k
- 25k
- 10k
- 5k
The 5k, 10k, and 25k are single loops. The 50k consists of two laps of the 25k. Aid stations are spaced about 2 to 4 miles apart. There is one aid station on the 10k, three on the 25k (one of which 25k runners pass twice), and a start/finish aid station available to 50k runners. Aid station items include water, Gatorade, Coke, oranges, bananas, and a variety of sweet and salty snacks.
Pacers are permitted for 50k runners on the second 25k loop. Pacers may use aid station food and drinks, will be asked to sign a waiver at the start/finish, and should step off the course before the finish line to avoid timing confusion.
Entry items
The race fee includes a crew neck sweatshirt or a buff. Register by December 8 to be guaranteed a sweatshirt; sizes after that date are while supplies last. An online signup fee is added to listed prices. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
