Winter Weavers' 50 km and 100 km Ultras

This event offers two ultramarathon courses along the Weavers' Way, both finishing at Cromer Pier on 14 November 2026. Runners may choose between the following courses:

  • 50 km from Stalham to Cromer
  • 100 km from Great Yarmouth to Cromer

Both races are held in winter conditions with limited daylight and the likelihood of wet and muddy trails. Organisers provide a GPX course and note that signage on the route is limited, so participants must be able to navigate using GPX files. Time limits are enforced for each race, with 10 hours for the 50 km and 19 hours for the 100 km.

Entries are limited to 150 participants overall and the minimum age on race day is 20 years. Entries open 1 December 2025 and close 7 November 2026. Transfers to another participant are permitted until 31 October 2026; deferrals are not allowed.

Included with entry are an iconic finish at Cromer Pier, a Winter Weavers finisher medal, indoor checkpoints with water points, food and drinks at checkpoints, a light meal and hot drinks at the Cromer recovery centre, GPS tracking, first aid cover, and prizes for 1st to 3rd in Female and Male/Open categories. A coach transfer from Cromer to the Stalham start is available for the 50 km race for a fee. One pound per runner will be donated to Norfolk Trails.
